The band members include Lee Fink on slide guitar, Myke Scavone on harp, Mike Caruso on bass, and Rocco Scavone on drums.

Plainfield Slim & The Groundhawgs released their second CD “When The Devil Hits Home” following global success from the first album, “Another Mule In The Barn.” Songs such as “Dirty Girl,” “Moan,” “Hideout,” “Marlene,” and “Sweet Jesus” have received airplay internationally and in the US. • ANOTHER MULE IN THE BARN

  • Albums

“Another Mule In The Barn” and “When The Devil Hits Home”

  • Somewhere in between Hound Dog Taylor and Elmore James lies Plainfield Slim's first album 'Another Mule In The Barn'.

A very very raw and nasty blues album that rocks from beginning to end.

Produced by Gar Francis (from The Doughboys 'Black Sheep' fame)

The CD has received much airplay overseas and was named one of the best blues albums of 2007 by Brisbane, Austraila's 101.0fm radio.

'Shake My Eggs' & 'Marlene' seem to be the stand out songs on the airwaves.

  • WHEN THE DEVIL HITS HOME

  • Plainfield Slim's second album "When The Devil Hits Home" received and still is receiving airplay world wide. From Canada to Croatia to the USA, DJ's around the world are spinning Slim songs Dirty Girl, Moan, Hideout, etc.

Produced again in Lo-Fi by Doughboys guitarist Gar Francis (Black Sheep, Queen Of Your Dreams) this time Plainfield Slim has used his live band The Groundhawgs for support.

After the success of his first album, "Another Mule In The Barn", Slim has switched from playing all the instruments himself to using the talents of Lee Fink on slide guitar, Rocco Scavone on drums, Mike Caruso on bass, and Myke Scavone on harmonica.

With hypnotic grooves in the vein of John Lee Hooker and RL Burnside "When The Devil Hits Home" has more of a Mississippi Delta Juke Joint feel to it that makes you want to kick off your shoes and shake your ass around the shack.

Produced in Lo-Fi by Gar Francis Mastered at House of Vibes by Kurt Reil Photos and Art Design by Scott Venittelli
